Collier Companies is a full-service, landscaping and irrigation company serving Central Virginia for over 30 years.
Late spring through early fall is our busiest season, thus we are seeking a highly-organized and conscientious Bookkeeper to join our staff on a part-time, temporary basis.
Specifically, we are seeking a bookkeeper willing to work 2 to 3 days per week (hybrid remote schedule) for six months of the year (April/May through September/October).
The ideal candidate would be willing to help us each year at this time.

*Position Responsibilities:*
* Common bookkeeping tasks include, but are not limited to: entering invoices, paying bills, receiving payments, entering financial transactions, reconciling bank and credit card statements and organizing client records.
* Perform data entry and scan documents.
* Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
* Prepare and disburse payments to vendors.
* Post transactions involving cash receipts, disbursements, and/or accounts payable and receivable to ledger accounts.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and bank reconciliations as needed.
*Minimum Requirements:*
* High school diploma, college degree preferred
* Prior bookkeeping experience, 2-3 years preferred
* QuickBooks experience, preferred
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to multi-task
