*Patient Transport Dispatcher*
* Wage: $15/hour
* Full- time/ Part-time positions available

*We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our patient transport team!*
Respond to all incoming calls promptly and efficiently, direct callers to their appropriate destinations, and provide clear, professional, and courteous communication.
*Responsibilities:*
* Answer multiple incoming telephone lines, obtain necessary information, and transfer calls to correct extensions
* Correct and update posted information and assist with the upkeep of directories and on-call lists
* Learn and use the features of the PBX phone system, headsets, telephones, and all other related equipment
* Perform overhead paging and monitor all alarms located in PBX, notifying appropriate personnel
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the PBX area
* Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational data and ensure release of information is consistent with all privacy policies
* Respond promptly, accurately, and calmly to disaster and emergency situations
* Orient and train new team members
*Requirements:*
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
* GED or high school diploma
* Ability to perform calmly, competently, and quickly in emergencies
* Preferred: PBX and customer service experience, experience working in a hospital setting
*Physical Requirements:*
* Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
* Ability to life up to 40 pounds occasionally
* Capable of sitting for extended periods of time while maintaining alert and responsive demeanor
