Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position focuses on the full design life cycle and customization of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application Requires involvement in process design and development along with the rest of the software development life cycle and production support.
Maintain application stability, performance and security through effective design.
Works with business lines, other IT teams and vendors to meet functional and technical requirements.
Acts as a SME for the Dynamics CRM environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic: Expand the functionality of Dynamics CRM by leveraging out of the box opportunities and building those that are not provided Assist in the design of processes and releases within all aspects of the Dynamics CRM environment Balance design, performance and simplicity Foster a team development process to support agile methodology Support a culture of innovation and efficiency Delivery: Develop custom applications, interfaces, scripts, plug-ins and other items for Dynamics CRM as needed Develop custom integration and workflow solutions that operate on large amounts of data Build resources to integrate with various third party systems Maintain and document configuration items, custom code and assist with training documentation Interface with third party and internal development teams to ensure in-house developed applications and workflow changes are released in a consistent, secure, and high-quality manner Provide technical and analytical support to various departments outside of IT.
Help translate high-level requirements from staff into effective CRM solutions.
Operational: Support application software releases/patches, interface testing and integration with other credit union systems Work closely with system administrators to enable system security and performance during the software development process Provide backup to other team members as needed Provide 2nd/3rd level support and troubleshooting for the application Participate in a team schedule for On-call duties to include weekends, holidays and nights as needed Maintain source code versioning during the software release management process to ensure Rollback and Disaster Recovery needs are met Ensure systems conform to all internal security, compliance, and performance requirements Complete all required, ongoing enterprise level training including, but not limited to BSA, OFAC, and Information Security.
Report all Risk Management Policy violations in accordance with policy.
Other duties may be required and assigned by the supervisor JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Technical: Experience with administration, configuration and customization of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Demonstrated technical skills including experience with the support and development of large-scale enterprise type software solutions using design principles and patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability Experience with script writing, ETL concepts, .
NET, C#, SQL, MVC, IIS, JavaScript, jQuery and application development Experience with other Microsoft tools including SQL server, SQL SSIS and SharePoint Significant knowledge of designing user interfaces and experiences both within Dynamics CRM and through custom code Experience with troubleshooting system issues and end-user support General knowledge of project management and the systems development lifecycle Basic knowledge of system administration practices Understanding of banking business practices and data Behavioral Competencies: Excellent listening and written communication skills Strong critical and creative reasoning skills Strong attention to detail and strong organization skills essential Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers and third party vendors Ability to work independently and a part of an agile team framework Capable of working on cross-functional project teams of all sizes Advocate creative solutions and continuous improvement Flexibility and adaptable to changing needs Job knowledge & decision making: Effectively delivers work with little oversight Looks for opportunity to improve self (additional tech , soft skills) Identifies options and provides input into decisions Develops and implements ideas, products or solutions to achieve goals Involves the appropriate people in defining and resolving a problem Effectively adjusts behavior and modifies strategies when confronted with changing, uncertain or unstructured situations Obtains commitment and cooperation from others Communication: Effectively communicates technical content to non-technical audience Effective verbal & written communication at level & below Listens actively to others Teamwork: Share/own mistakes to promote learning Offers effort beyond current skills to improve team Utilizes strengths of individuals within group to the benefit of the team Encourages and is receptive to suggestions and solutions from others Minimum Education and Experience: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related or an equivalent combination of experience and education Significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, certification a plus Requires demonstrated software development of enterprise software applications Financial services industry experience a plus
