A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our team, you will report to the Janitorial Services Crew Leader at Camp Baker.
You will assist with daily, weekly, and emergency cleaning of Camp Baker facilities used by campers and camp staff, maintaining standards of cleanliness and sanitation that meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Clean restrooms and shower rooms daily
Clean staff and Retreat laundry rooms
Clean glass doors and windows in camp specific buildings
Empty all trash containers in the front of the Lodge and in arts & crafts building daily, empty twice daily in the Retreat and dining hall
Stock the Retreat and dining hall with bathroom and cleaning supplies
Stock the Retreat and staff laundry rooms as needed
Attends staff and training meeting as required by the SOAR365 Manager of Janitorial Services and the Camp Director
Effectively works with volunteers / interns in the business unit to achieve the mission of the organization while providing meaningful opportunities for the volunteer(s) / intern(s) to contribute in a manner they find rewarding
Complies with all SOAR365 and Camp Baker policies and procedures including but not limited to janitorial, safety, discrimination & harassment, Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Human Rights plan
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience as a housekeeper or janitor preferred
Experience working in campus or camp setting preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
