Part Time Morning/Afternoon Preschool Teacher (4-6 hours/day)

m.
to 9 a.
m.
or afternoons 2 p.
m.
to 6:30 p.
m.
or some combination of those hours.
This position would be great for someone who wants to make a little extra money while they are in school or possibly has another job but could work two to four hours a day in either the morning or afternoon.
*Responsibilities* * Support the mission of Matoaca Child Development Center * Be 16 years of age or older * Confirm a strong Christian belief and exhibit such in his her/her teaching, personal, and professional decision making * Exhibit basic knowledge of child development * Have appropriate experience working with children * Provide a warm, loving, and safe atmosphere for students * Pass a background check * Teach Bible Curriculum daily * Attend and complete at least 16 hours of training per year (paid for by employer) * Complete and maintain CPR Certification (paid for by employer) * Develop and maintain an organized classroom that offers and effective learning environment * Adhere to all state requirements regarding subsidized and religious exempt child care centers * Attend and contribute to monthly staff meetings * Maintain effective communication with parents * Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards * Perform any other duties as directed by the administrator or director * Classroom experience and basic technology experience preferred but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: $12.
00 - $15.
