com), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing A/E firm with 20 office locations in ten states and over 475 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast, is seeking a Operations Finance Director.
This position can be remote, hybrid, or housed in one of our offices.
Position Overview:
This position will provide leadership over the Operations Finance team.
They will serve as the chief finance liaison with Business Line leadership.
They will coordinate the analytical and transactions aspects of operational finance and ensure that technology is applied optimally in every aspect of the lead-to-cash cycle, and that all related functions are performed with maximum efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversees project set up and project financial maintenance
Provides analytical support and implements project financial risk management measures
Ensures consistency and effectiveness in project financial management practices across all Business Lines
Partners with the FP&A lead to ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting is accurate and timely
Equips the Business Line leads for success by maintaining the information and indicators necessary to manage their business
Partners with the Corporate Controller to ensure Working Capital and Cash optimization through prompt and efficient Accounts Receivable management
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field of study in Business.
Minimum 5-10 years in accounting and finance support role
Experience working with operations teams of various sizes
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Advanced MS Excel user.
Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision experience preferred.
A&E industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP preferred
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) preferred.
