We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the team at Commonwealth Attorney Marketing Service, LLC located in Petersburg, VA.
As Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for making sure that all financial information recorded within the company is accurate and up to date.
Your main duties will involve preparing financial statements, examining account balances, maintaining ledgers, and verifying the accuracy of financial data.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our financial staff to further streamline our financial processes.

The salary for this role is $37,000 - $42,000 a year.

Responsibilities:
Maintain the chart of accounts framework
Adding journal entries
Daily reconciliations for multiple accounts
Keep all bookkeeping processes compliant with GAAP and meet all purchasing/inventory, accounts/notes receivable, accounts/notes payable, and payroll deadlines including payments, filings, and reports
Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of chart of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and all standard bookkeeping processes (GAAP Compliance)
Demonstrate consistent follow-through with deadlines and project completion
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Must be methodical, careful, and persistent about doing work correctly the first time
Must be in the office full-time
