=A dynamic growing company is searching for a Manager in their Accounting Department.
This is a full time opportunity with an attractive base + bonus incentive package, excellent benefits and manageable schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision of Staff Accountants, Junior Accountants, AP Clerks performance of accountant reconciliations and other accounting functions including reporting.
Oversees accountability of all collections, and/or prepares Aged Receivables Reporting.
Administers the receivable systems, and coordinates the planning, development, testing and implementation of all projects designed to enhance the receivable systems.
Ensures the accountability is in accordance with GAAP, and the internal corporate policies and accounting controls.
Approves monthly journal entries and oversees the analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts.
Compiles Statistical data utilized to support footnotes to company financial statements.
Assists in annual financial review and internal and external audits.
Oversees the reconciliation of invoice payments versus banking detail.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Ensure proper staffing and the use of overtime hours to maximize the effectiveness of the Accounting function.
Conducts annual performance appraisals for direct reports, recommends salary increases, provides individual feedback to improve performance, and initiates corrective action in response to personnel problems.
Oversees the training of new employees to perform their duties in a manner consistent with company standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or similar experience.
Advanced On-Demand Report Querying experience.
Advanced Excel experience.
2 years of Supervisory/Management experience.
5 years of Accounting Experience.
