During our busiest season, estimated to be from late-January through April 15th, 2025, tax season interns assist with the increased tax work for clients.
What Your Day Looks Like:
Scans tax documents into AutoFlow
Reviews and validates scanned documents
Prepares basic tax returns
Imports data from client’s files to our workpaper files.
Learns to use accounting and tax software
Develop an understanding of internal CPA practices.
Develop an understanding of teamwork within a work environment
What You Need as an Intern:
Accounting majors who intend to begin their careers in public accounting.
Students in their junior or senior years, with at least one section of Intermediate accounting already successfully passed.
GPA's of 3.
0 and higher.
Availability of 15-20 hours per week during spring semester is preferred
Interns should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines, multi-task, and possess critical thinking skills.
Interns should be aspiring to obtain CPA certification
Interns should have a willingness and desire to learn more about public accounting.
Attributes that demonstrate initiative, career-oriented intensity, above average Excel/IT skills, and professionalism will be significant factors in our selection of candidates.
