edu Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Financial Analyst/Accountant will assist the COA Financial Services Department with reviewing and preparing financial reports to track expenses and other financial related activities.
Ensure compliance and accountability of financial programs and business operations/processes.
Maintain the necessary records, files, reports, databases and resource material pertinent to funding source activities to ensure effective grants management operations and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Coordinate work with other office support staff assisting with grant and funding related activities.
Minimum Qualifications • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or closely-related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills using formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience with creating financial and Ad-hoc statements/reports • Ability to prepare data in a variety of formats such as: graphs, maps, charts, illustrations, tables, diagrams, flow charts, plain text and other formats as needed.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information • Experience preparing budget forecast and tracking payments.
• Compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Experience developing written budget reports of state and federal spending trends on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.
