We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary: The HR and Payroll Specialist at Salisbury Country Club will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources and payroll processes.
This role requires a blend of skills in HR management, payroll administration, compliance, and employee relations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, payroll processing, and a passion for providing excellent service to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Manage and maintain employee records, including but not limited to personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations, and termination information.
Implement and manage HR policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal laws.
Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
Conduct new employee orientations and employee relations counseling.
Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Prepare reports and analytics for management regarding employee-related data such as hires, turnovers, and payroll expenses.
Coordinate with department managers to assist with HR issues and provide strategic HR support.
Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommend corrective action.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and payroll administration.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, experience with Paycor is a plus.
In-depth understanding of state and federal employment laws.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
HR or Payroll certification (e.
g.
, SHRM-CP, PHR, CPP) is preferred.
